The BBC have using a lot more flash stuff using the iplayer across their whole site. Today they were showing Football Focus live on the home page and now they are streaming Score throughout the afternoon (their results show normally shown on the Red Button in the UK). Check it out. BBC Football

Hi folks, Welcome to the start of the new season. Frist things first, how does all this watching football online stuff work? Just thought I'd update everyone as a lot of people may be new to this.
First off get yourself one of the peer to peer clients installed. This allows you to watch the football online. The best few are: PPLive 1.9.15 Sopcast Tvants 1.0.0.59 direct download link
These are the bits of software that allow you to watch any tv online. From here you then need to find a site advertising links to the various channels showing anything from the Beijing Olympics to the latest american TV shows like Lost. The best couple of sites for footie links are: myp2p.eu football4less.com Since we started this site there are now a number of sites offering live streaming services that anyone can quickly setup. A popular one is justin.tv. Already there have been links on Red and White Kop Liverpool forum with people offering links for the Standard Liege European Champions League qualifer. A quick search on the site for football shows people offering todays early kick between West Brom and Arsenal. Sure there will be more links on the site come 3 o'clock.

Sports authorities are taking action to stop illegal live coverage of football and other events over the internet. Almost all English Premiership matches are available to watch live and for free, as are other leagues and sports. The coverage, mainly from Chinese sport channels, is put on peer-to-peer applications and can be watched anywhere in the world. As well as football, some sites are also claiming to offer live cricket action from The Ashes in Australia. The FA Premier League, Uefa, Cricket Australia and other sport bodies have employed a company called NetResult to police the internet for unauthorised video. Some websites provide direct links to each match, only requiring the user to download a free peer-to-peer program. |
